AC50 serial number 2031
General views
The cab is probably from another set. The logo is of the later American type, and the solder tags of the speakers are on a board between the struts of the frame, not on the frame itself (therefore 1966 or later).
Click as ever on the thumbnails for larger images.
Note on the serial number plate the hand-stamping of "AC50", but the machine-stamped "02031".
Valve rectified, twin channel, conforming to the AC50 Mark 2 schematic. Originally a dome voltage selector, since replaced with a link selector.
One can just make out the date code on the large 0.1uf mustard capacitors on the right-hand side of the preamp 8/64 = August 1964.
Pot codes "IL" and "GL" = September and July 1964.
Above, the cab. Still JMI. Note however the solid-state style logo = 1967. Pictured above in its partially restored condition.
